The Most Epic Safety Video Ever Made #airnzhobbit

Air New Zealand created an ingenuous way of making their passengers watch their planes' air safety video. It features a star-studded cast of “Lord of the Rings.” This only a few months after the controversial in-flight video showing Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models blowing into their airline life vests.


Dubbed online as “The Most Epic Safety Video Ever Made," it features the"Hobbit" directors and actors, including Elijah Wood, Sir Peter Jackson, Sylvestor McCoy,  Sir Richard Taylor, Dean O’Gorman, and Naoyuki Shimizu.

It begins with two nerdy "Lord of the Ring" fans sitting next to Elijah Wood (aka Frodo Baggins), while Dean O'Gorman, Sylvester McCoy, Sir Richard Taylor and Peter Jackson give inflight instructions in the background.

Flight attendants who looked like they were plucked right from Middle Earth, and the cast members encourage passengers to "buckle up, put on their oxygen masks and stow their Bilbo baggage."

-- Tori is faking illness to the point she is actually making herself sick. The Ebola craziness was never real ... but Tori created such drama around it, staying up days at a time and not eating ... she made herself sick and her health is compromised.

One very close friend is trying to stage an intervention, telling TMZ, "I am hoping that shedding some light on it for all of her fans to read may actually lead her to seek some change in her life ...kind of like David Hasselhoff watching the drunk video of himself eating a hamburger."

Whatever the real reasons are, I hope Tori gets well soon.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron official trailer has been released by Marvel ahead of schedule. It was supposed to be scheduled for release after next week's episode of Marvel's Agents of Shield, but plans changed after a version leaked online today.

Renee stepped out at the Elle Women in Hollywood event with boyfriend Doyle Bramhall II on Monday evening (October 20) and while she thought the internet buzz is “silly,” she decided to comment on the issue because “it seems the folks who come digging around for some nefarious truth which doesn’t exist won’t get off my porch until I answer the door.”

“My friends say that I look peaceful. I am healthy,” Renee added. “For a long time I wasn’t doing such a good job with that. I took on a schedule that is not realistically sustainable and didn’t allow for taking care of myself. Rather than stopping to recalibrate, I kept running until I was depleted and made bad choices about how to conceal the exhaustion. I was aware of the chaos and finally chose different things.”

Oscar de la Renta, one of the world's most famous designers with stunning designs that have graced red carpets and big shot events, passed away at the age of 82. He has been in the industry for 50 years. The cause of his death is unknown, though he was diagnosed with cancer in 2006.

The fashion world has lost a truly remarkable talent.

Oscar de la Renta, who is known for his stunning designs that have graced numerous red carpets and influential events throughout his 50 years in the industry, has died at the age of 82.

The iconic designer's cause of death was not clear. However, he was diagnosed with cancer in 2006, but said in an interview last year with the International Business Times that he was "totally clean" of the disease and not at all interested in retirement. He recently designed Amal Clooney's wedding gown, and appeared in the pages of Vogue with George Clooney's bride, taken during her fitting.

Exciting news from the royal family! Kate Middleton and Prince William have just confirmed that they are expecting another baby. The date? April 2015! The whole world celebrates the news and the royal couple couldn't be happier!

Prince George's mom "continues to be affected by Hyperemisis Gravidarum [acute morning sickness]," the statement continued, "but her condition is steadily improving."

That's certainly good news! The Duchess of Cambridge, 32, has been forced to cancel a number of events due to pregnancy complications, but she's scheduled to make a public appearance this Tuesday. 

This does not mean that the royal couple will just sit back and wait for the new baby to come. They actually have quite a schedule in the coming days, as reported by eonline:

Per the palace statement, Kate and Prince William, also 32, will greet The President of the Republic of Singapore and Mrs Tony Tan Keng Yam on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II. The royal couple will meet the the president and Mrs. Tan at London's Garden Hotel and then travel with them to the Horse Guards Parade. There, the president will receive a Ceremonial Welcome as part of his state visit.

That's not all, though! Kate plans to attend another event Tuesday—the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2015 Awards Ceremony at The Natural Museum of History. Further details about the event are still to come.

Hopefully, though, we'll get to see Kate's burgeoning baby bump in photos from both events! And just think--only six months until we get to meet the baby that's fourth in line to the throne! Of course, if he or she is anything like big brother George, royal baby No. 2 might come a few weeks after the expected due date!

Madison Louch, a model, reported that her nude photos were hacked from iCloud, and that somebody blackmailed to released the photos if she did not pay up in cash!

Madison claims that she was locked out of her iCloud account last September 7, and got the dreaded call the same day. The guy calling bragged about hacking her account, and claimed that he was "notorious" for getting into the accounts of other celebrities. This guy then demanded $900, threatening to ruin her modeling career if she fails to comply. He asked her to leave the money in a brown bag at a certain location in Hollywood.

TMZ reports:


Madison freaked out and called the LAPD, which then planned a sting.  Turns out a woman came to the location at the exact time, grabbed the bag and cops swarmed her.  

The woman -- Jamie Munoz -- told cops she knew she was picking up money for someone who was threatening to post nude photos, but she says she wasn't part of the plot.  She gave cops the name of the guy -- Nicholas Douglas from Vancouver.  

Munoz ended up pleading guilty to attempted extortion and got 3 years probation and community service -- no jail.

Law enforcement says they are still on the hunt to find out if there is such as person as Nicholas Douglas and if he's the hacker.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer Actor Arrested

Nicholas Brendon, one of the stars in the 90s hit Buffy the Vampire Slayer, was detained in Boise, Idaho for allegedly damaging property and resisting arrest. The 43-year-old actor spent several hours in jail. He was in town because of the Tree City Comic Con.

Boise police said they received a call around 9:30 p.m. on Friday about a disturbance in a hotel lobby involving Brendon and staff members. When officers arrived, they found the actor showing "signs of intoxication" and said he "repeatedly refused officers' commands to stay seated while officers tried to speak with witnesses."

Police said Brendon tried to walk away, after which officers arrested him for resisting and obstructing. Authorities also said hotel staff reported that he had broken a decorative dish and that they wished to press charges.

Brendon was then booked into a local jail on charges of malicious injury to property and resisting or obstructing officers, which are both misdemeanors. He was later released on a $600 bond after 6 a.m. on Saturday.

This arrest comes just two weeks after the actor got married to Moonda Tee in Las Vegas.

You may remember Brendon playing the character "Xander" in the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He was the goofy guy friend of Buffy and that witch girl.

A very "cute" story involving US President Barack Obama. While dining in a New York restaurant, his credit card apparently got declined. Who would have thought that was possible?

While attending the United Nations General Assembly last month in NYC, President Barack Obama had his credit card declined at a local Big Apple eatery (seriously)! POTUS revealed the embarrassing story Friday while signing a new order calling for tighter debit card security and enhanced federal measures to help victims of identity theft.

"I went to a restaurant up in New York when I was, during the U.N. General Assembly, and my credit card was rejected," Obama told reporters in Washington, D.C. today.

According to Obama, who was dining with wife Michelle Obama at the time of the incident, he tried to convince the waitress his card worked. "I was trying to explain to the waitress, you know, I really think that I've been paying my bills," Obama said. "Even I'm affected by this."

"It turned out, I guess, I don't use it enough," he went on. "So they thought there was some fraud going on."

He ended the story by saying: "Fortunately, Michelle had hers."

Hilarious! I can just imagine the stress levels of the waitress as she was telling the US President that his credit is no good!

7th Heaven Star Stephen Collins Free From Child Molestation Investigations

Someone's running home free. Stephen Collins, the 7th Heaven actor who was charged with child molestation a couple of weeks ago, will NOT be prosecuted for exposing himself to the 3 minors and for molestation. This is despite the existence of the audio file of Collins confessing to wife Faye Grant. Law enforcement sources reportedly said that since the cases are decades old, they will be barred by the statute of limitation from prosecuting.

TMZ has this report:

The NYPD case is the one with the best argument that the statute hasn't run ... as we reported the victim came forward in 2012 and spoke with NY detectives. But that case involves an incident in the 70s and we're told law enforcement has all but given up on a viable case.

Grant has alleged Collins molested a child while he was shooting "7th Heaven" -- sometime between 1996 and 2007 -- but we're told no such victim has come forward.

Although it looks like Collins will not be prosecuted -- assuming no one else comes forward -- he will still have to deal with the molestation issue in court. His divorce trial is next month, and Grant plans to raise the issue because she wants her portion of the assets protected in case one of the victims files suit. And he plans to raise the issue because he claims she used the audio to extort him.

Harry Potter Spinoff: "At Least A Trilogy"

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is scheduled to write a screenplay. She is doing this for the very first time, and it's for a project called Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them!

This new franchise is actually a spinoff of the worldwide hit Harry Potter series. Reports say that this new project will be at least a trilogy. Films are scheduled to be released in 2016, 2018, 2020, and possibly beyond.

Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara had this to say: “Jo has a vision for this extension of the franchise, and for the first time, she is writing the script for what she believes is at least a trilogy.”

Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them is about a character named Newt Scamander, who was a Hufflepuff hero that studied magical creatures and wrote a fictional textbook that bears the franchise’s name.

On doing poorly in school because of ADHD and dyslexia:
“I have never considered myself a very smart person, for a lot of reasons. Not having early success on that one path messes with you. You get lumped in classes with kids with autism and Down Syndrome, and you look around and say, Okay, so this is where I’m at. Or you get put in the typical classes and you say, All right, I’m obviously not like these kids either. So you’re kind of nowhere. You’re just different. The system is broken. If we can streamline a multibillion-dollar company, we should be able to help kids who struggle the way I did.”

On being a father:
“You notice your behavior, like, Wow, I don’t have much patience right now. Why is that? You spend the day watching this thing constantly taking in information, and you have to be sure you’re making that happen. At the end of the day when I put her to bed, I feel glad to have some peace but say to myself, That was so much fun.”

On playing real person Mark Schultz in Foxcatcher:
“It felt like a sensitive situation because Mark Schultz really wanted me to get everything correct. In a two-hour movie I’m never going to be able to show everything about a person, but I tried to grasp the most poignant things and to imbue them into the film. Mark didn’t expect to like it, though it turned out that he did. He was just hoping he’d be relieved, and I think maybe he wanted to get some justice. I’m not sure it’s full enough of that stuff for him — all the stuff that people did to him, terrible, terrible things. The movie doesn’t do that. It shows these relationships that are complicated and beautiful and horrible.”

Apparently, Selena fell for the now 46-year-old actor after seeing him as guitarist Russell Hammond in 2000's Almost Famous.

"I had a crush on him," she admitted, giggling. "I went through my whole Almost Famous phase, so I was like Penny Lane for a good month—I wore the outfits and had the hair and the glasses...and then, I found out I was going to be a part of the movie [with Billy] and it took me a minute at first, because I kind of had a little bit of a crush on him!"

Brad Pitt's "Breakdance Conversation" with Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon had an interesting moment Brad Pitt on his show. They taped a "breakdance conversation," a dance showdown with no words (just subtitles).

The video starts with Jimmy Fallon turning on his boom box and dancing in the basement. As it turns out, Brad Pitt is in the vicinity and shows off dancing moves of his own! Let the dance battle begin!

The two take turns trying to outdo each other, just using body language to communicate. "Brad?" Fallon acts out by dancing. The movie star replies with a good spin, "Hey, Jimmy! How's it going?"
The exchange goes on for a few minutes, until Brad Pitt says, "This might sound a little crazy, but do you want to do a double breakdance?"

NCIS dominated the ratings war Tuesday with a strong 17.26 million viewers, followed closely by another NCIS show, NCIS: New Orleans with 16.14 million. The Voice, on the other hand, also showed a decent 12.34 million viewership. Superhero shows The Flash and Marvel's Agents of Shield got 4.27 million and 4.70 million respectively.
