Ellen has been very busy raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research, as evidenced by the various new segments in her show. Due to her popularity and charm, she has successfully raised a decent amount and continues to find ways to raise even more.
This week, she thought of selling some Ellen items off, the proceeds of which will go to research. She jokingly said that she would auction off the mug she was using right then, and what do you know? There were several takers.
